Abstract
Istraživanje je provedeno tijekom proljeća 2015. na poljoprivrednom obiteljskom gospodarstvu nedaleko Križevaca. Cilj istraživanja je bio provjeriti kvalitetu supstrata te utjecaj na parametre rasta sadnica pelargonija sa svrhom što efikasnije proizvodnje. Pokus je postavljen na devet različitih supstrata (četiri kompostirana biorazgradiva komunalna otpada, jedan komercijalni Klasmann supstrat i četiri supstrata izmješanih 50:50 Klasmann:kompostirani biorazgradivi komunalni otpad). Pokus je postavljen po slučajnom bloknom rasporedu u tri ponavljanja. Prema prikazanim rezultatima istraživanja razvoju pelargonija najviše odgovara komercijalni Klasmanov supstrat te nakon toga kombinacija 50:50 Klasmann supstrat:kompostirani biorazgradivi komunalni otpad Križevci, dok su najlošiji rezultati u uzgoju pelargonija zabilježeni su uzgojem u kompostiranom biorazgradivom komunalnom otpadu Čakovec..
