Abstract (english) The researched farms (A, B, C and D) breed dairy goats in the Međimurje County area and meet the basic measures of animal welfare, have a 10% increase in floor area compared to the minimum prescribed standard for goats (1.32 m2), which increases comfort and reduces stress. Farms A and B also have the option of an outdoor paddock when the weather permits, enabling the goats to move outdoors. During lactation period, regular monthly control of milk yield (AT method) was carried out by HAPIH on all cows, and the data of qualitative laboratory analysis were analyzed (part of milk fat (m.m.), protein, and the number of somatic cells (SCC) and total bacterial count (TBC) in goat milk sampled in the period from 1 February 1 2018 to 15 November 2022. The research did not establish that the additional measure of enabling outdoor movement in the paddock has a statistically significant effect on the increase in goat milk quality parameters, the microbiological picture, the somatic cell count (SCC), the length of lactation and the amount of milk produced in lactation. Farms with outdoor paddocks (A and B) had a higher proportion of milk fat (m.f.) by 0.07% compared to farms without outdoor paddocks (Ci D) and a lower proportion of protein by 0.05%, which can be justified by feeding, because the goats without outdoor paddock had constant access to higher quality voluminous and concentrated food. The arithmetic mean of the number of somatic cells (SCC) on farms A and B was higher by 114,375 somatic cells compared to farms C and D (SCC)/ml, and housing conditions can not be linked to keeping the animals outdoors, but to the hygienic conditions of indoor housing facilities. The total number of microorganisms (TBC)/ml on farms C and D without outdoor paddock is lower, which can be attributed to better milking hygiene. The conditions of enabling goats access to outdoor paddock had a significant impact on longevity, i.e. the number of lactations and subsequently the extension of lifetime production. The research indicates that farms with outdoor paddock A and B have goats that were in production from 9 to 12 lactations, and number of lactations of goats on farms without outdoor paddock ranged from 7 to 11 lactations.
